Advanced Motion Measurement, Inc Releases New Walkabout 6D Golf System During PGA Expo.

Advanced Motion Measurement, Inc., (AMM) a leading provider of 3D motion capture and analysis software and hardware and home to the AMM3D-TPI3D Golf System is proud to announce the Walkabout 6D Golf System.

PHOENIZ, AZ, January 28, 2012 /United States PR News/ -- Advanced Motion Measurement, Inc., (AMM) a leading provider of 3D motion capture and analysis software and hardware and home to the AMM3D-TPI3D Golf System is proud to announce the Walkabout 6D Golf System.

The Walkabout 6D Golf System is a three sensor, 6 degrees-of-freedom (DOF) tether-less system. Being untethered allows the subject to freely "walkabout" the testing area without the encumbrance of wires. Utilizing the TPI3D Tour Pro database at its core, AMM has released the first sensor based system for under $10,000 that provides not just angles, but to golfers everywhere, the all-important sway, thrust and lift measurements. In addition, the Walkabout provides a 4-curve 'Kinematic Sequence' graph of the rotational velocity of the pelvis, rib cage, arms segment and club.

"We are very excited to be able to release a product that the industry has been asking for for years", said Aaron Pines, President and CEO of AMM. Mr. Pines went on to say, "The technology has finally become available in which we are able to offer the first truly affordable, versatile and easy to use system. The Walkabout 6D Golf System is just the first product using this very capable hardware platform." Other sports and applications are expected to be released in the near future.

Phil Cheetham (The 3D Guy) and AMM's Chief Technical Officer had this to say about today's launch. "Finally we have a system that does all we need in measuring the biomechanics of the golf swing. Every instructor can now easily and affordably capture a golfer's Kinematic Sequence and analyze this important signature of efficiency. With its ability to measure true six-degrees-of-freedom of motion the AMM Walkabout 6D system will help the instructor correct power leaks that inhibit an efficient swing. I have personally already used its biofeedback mode to review sway/slide problems, plus help promote correct transitioning from backswing to downswing. I am excited about its future. It is really a breakthrough!"

The release of the Walkabout 6D Golf System coincides with this week's upcoming PGA Show in Orlando, Florida. In addition, the Walkabout will be on display at the World Scientific Congress of Golf Expo being held in Phoenix, Arizona, March 12-16.

About Advanced Motion Measurement, Inc.

AMM develops and sells full-body 3D motion analysis systems for diagnosis and training of efficient body motion in the swing. The systems run on electromagnetic, inertial motion capture platforms and incorporate the comprehensive biomechanics reports called TPI 3D. TPI 3D has been jointly developed by Dr. Greg Rose, Phil Cheetham and the TPI Biomechanics Advisory Board to revolutionize and standardize the way that 3D biomechanics is used to measure and train the efficiency of the body during the swing. Its primary purpose is to display and quantify the kinematic sequence; a scientific method of reviewing timing, sequencing and energy transfer from one body segment to the next. Performance enhancement is much easier to realize with this precise scientific data.
