AUSTIN, TX, February 03, 2012 /United States PR News/ -- Cleanicity, the leading manufacturer of pet products inspired by clean freaks, is launching its unique paw-cleaning mat, the Stikitty , to a broader base of pet specialty retailers through a partnership with Lone Star Pet Supply, a leading regional pet products distributor. The launch marks the popular product's final transition from an exclusively e-commerce item to a multi-channel best seller.
"We launched the Stikitty to a small group of pet retailers in early fall 2011," explained Carol O'Brien, the CEO of Cleanicity. "With the incredible success of that pilot, we are expanding our retail partnerships beginning with the pet specialty retailers who work with Lone Star Pet Supply."
The Stikitty is a lightweight, adhesive mat that uses cleanroom technology to proactively clean cats' paws and stop the spread of germs and cat litter throughout pet owners' homes. With 20 layers of sticky adhesive, the Stikitty traps litter until it is ready for removal. When the top layer is full, the pet owner easily pulls it away, revealing a new clean layer underneath. According to Ms. O'Brien, the results are healthier pets, cleaner, more germ-free homes, and happier pet owners.
The Stikitty will be available to the retail partners of Lone Star Pet Supply in January, 2012. Ms. O'Brien plans to continue working with other leading regional pet distributors to expand nationally.
