Health Fair, Discussion Panels to Address Senior Care & Retirement Needs
Feb. 9 Event for Seniors, Feb. 12 Discussion for Care Givers
CARY, NC, February 01, 2012 /United States PR News/ -- SearStone, Christ the King Lutheran Church and the Senior Resource Alliance of the Triangle are partnering to sponsor two free special events in Cary that will address issues such as retirement planning, health care, living options and considerations for senior caregiving. Both events will be held at Christ the King Lutheran Church, located at 600 Walnut Street in Cary.
Senior Health Fair and Panel Discussion
Thursday, Feb. 9, 1 p.m.
Seniors are invited to a health fair at 1 p.m. followed by a panel discussion at 2 p.m. focused on planning for retirement. Topics will include planning for the future, being a care giver, low-cost downsizing, home health care, financial planning, and more. Panelist will include Erin Nortensen, elder care manager for SAS; Greg Wallace, elder law attorney; and Morgan Lamphere, director of sales and marketing for SearStone.
Senior Health Care Panel Discussion
Sunday, Feb. 12, 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.
This panel discussion will focus on adult care givers and seniors who are caring for others. Topics will include senior living options, low-cost strategies for care, dementia care, home health care, and more. Panelists will include Erin Nortensen, elder care manager for SAS; Lisa Levine with Alzheimer's NC; and Morgan Lamphere, director of sales and marketing for SearStone.
"Both of these events will present relevant information for seniors and their care givers on how to navigate the many options for retirement, housing and health care," said Lamphere.
