Cambridge Who's Who Names Danielle A. Lechette, MBA Professional of the Year in Strategic Purchasing

Mrs. Lechette assists the clients of the Jacobs Engineering Group with her expertise in procurement

    CONSHOHOCKEN, PA, January 23, 2012 /United States PR News/ -- Danielle Lechette, MBA, Senior Buyer of the Jacobs Engineering Group, has been named a Cambridge Who's Who Professional of the Year in Strategic Purchasing. While inclusion in the Cambridge Who's Who Registry is an honor, only a small selection of members in each discipline are chosen for this distinction. These special honorees are distinguished based on their professional accomplishments, academic achievements, leadership abilities, years of service, and the credentials they have provided in association with their Cambridge Who's Who membership.

As a senior buyer of the Jacobs Engineering Group, Mrs. Lechette performs field services relating to capital equipment projects and information technology. She regularly assists contracted clients with her procurement expertise, purchasing capital equipment for their capital projects. She also manages clients in the pharmaceutical and chemical industries, and creates and maintains procurement plans. Mrs. Lechette served in support of Operation Desert Shield and Operation Desert Storm from 1991 to 1992. She attributes her success to her hard work and educational background. She became involved in her profession after serving in the U.S. Air Force, after which she began working with the Jacobs Engineering Group.

Mrs. Lechette received an MBA with a concentration in supply chain management from Strayer University in 2009, having received a Bachelor of Science in business administration from the University of Phoenix in 2003. She is a former board director of programs for the ISM-Philadelphia (formerly Purchasing Management Association of Philadelphia) and a former co-chairwoman of the Professional Development Committee for the Institute for Supply Management Philadelphia association. In recognition for her excellent service, she received The Air Force Commendation Medal from the U.S. Air Force in 1992, as well as a Joint Service Achievement Medal in 1991, and an Achievement Medal from the U.S. Air Force in 1991.
