    CLARKSVILLE, TN, January 11, 2012 /United States PR News/ -- LaShawna Heflin, Co-Owner of Trinity Staffing Resources, LLC, has been named a VIP Member of Cambridge Who's Who. This special distinction honors individuals who have shown exceptional commitment to achieving personal and professional success.

Ms. Heflin is a Registered Nurse with over 11 years of nursing experience in a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Her thirst for knowledge and her passion for providing care to patients has afforded her the opportunity to work on Post Partum, Labor and Delivery, Newborn Nursery, Pediatrics, and Pediatric Intensive Care Units in various medical centers throughout the United States during her career. Ms. Heflin co-founded Trinity Staffing Resources, LLC (TSR), a federal and commercial contractor that provides medical and administrative professionals to all areas of the government, commercial hospitals and other entities, in April 2009. Recently, she launched a new Baby Basics class for expectant parents and parents of newborns to teach basic infant care and the prevention of Shaken Baby Syndrome via TSR.

Ms. Heflin also has a patent pending in four countries for a bottle nipple/pacifier and has co-authored two published articles: "Lactation Space Design: Supporting Evidence-Based Practice and The Baby-Friendly Hospital Initiative," to be published in an upcoming issue of Health Environments Research Design (HERD) Journal and "The Challenges of Extended Postpartum Recovery for NICU Mothers: A proposed architectural solution," published in AIA Academy Journal (co-author: Tammy Thompson, AIA). In November 2011, she was a co-speaker at the Health Care Design 2011 Conference held in Nashville, TN and speaks publicly at various engagements on bone marrow disorders.

She earned a dual Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing and Health Care Management from Clayton College and State University of Marrow, Ga. and enjoys volunteering with numerous military units.

She is married to her high school sweetheart and they have one child.
